about

I wrote this song my senior year of college about my experiences with lesbians. I always wanted to play the "I have gay friends" card, but thought writing a song would be more sincere.

The title, pronounced, "ni-shee-cote", is Hebrew for "kisses." When I lived in Tel Aviv, one of my closest friends (the "dyke" from the song) ended every conversation saying (or typing) "kisses."

Dear Gays,

I got nothin' but love and sweet mustache.

love,
daniel

lyrics

I think it's beautiful what you got
One of my best friends is a dyke and I love her a lot
I'm keeping my nose clean of your honey pot
Why can't we be friends?

Is it because my hair is too long?
Is it because of my beard? Or because of my dong?
I'm tellin' you that I don't want to come along
Won't you please hold hands?
